Researcher and journalist writing about the carceral state, race, and disability.

I study the mechanisms behind systems of political power and the people who are most impacted by them. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student in Harvard University’s Government department, where I am a Presidential Scholar and Stone Ph.D. Scholar in Inequality and Wealth Concentration. I am also a fellow at the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. When I am not at CGIS, I play violin and flute in the Harvard GSAS orchestra, compete on a gymnastics team, serve as a Resident Tutor in Adams House, and carefully avoid collisions in Boston’s bike lanes.
